About Me

There is an old saying: “when the student is ready, the teacher appears”, this is my experience in Reiki. I had previously experienced being treated with Reiki, enjoyed it but never really gave it much more thought. Ten years later 'something' pulled me to apply to become trained and attuned on a course full of strangers. As anyone who knows me knows I am shy and hate to go anywhere out of my comfort zone but I went anyway and cried throughout the course. Why was I crying? Well I felt I had come home, that this was where I was meant to be.

What has Reiki done for me?

For years I suffered from a bad back due to a partially erupted disc. This caused days of pain including days of immobility and time off work. During my training my back pain disappeared and has very rarely returned.  I learnt this pain was a blocked energy, basically where my body stored stress. Some people store as migraines, others in the stomach area and others in joints. 

Energy during Reiki is transferred through the body, flowing through releasing blockages and allowing the body to heal its self. Now I love to help others as I have been helped.

What training have I completed?

After the original level 1 course was completed I spent the year treating family members and carrying out daily self treatments before feeling I was ready to move on to complete both level 2 and Reiki Master of the Usui System with my original Reiki Master Fay Johnstone.

From there I have gone on to complete levels 1, 2 and Master/teacher with Udemy.
